I'm not a web designer, don't pretend to be. I could make you a lovely looking template, but the actual planning isn't something I excel at. So in light of this my new website isn't a website at all it's just another blog made to look like a website. Go to www.kither.tumblr.com for my website goodness. At a later date i shall make further inroads to making a proper website but for now this is just dandy. Enjoy.

Review

I had my review last week and managed to get my feedback today. As per usual I seem to have missed the mark but am sure I can do better when it comes around to the actual grading. 

I have a C at the moment and am confident in my abilities (especially since my magazine work is being marked when still only half finished) that I can achieve a higher mark. How the C translates into 1st, 2:1, 2:2 etc grading is a grey area and I'm still unsure as to why our tutors insist on marking us like this, but I'm reasonably happy with the mark.

Would like to go better than the 62% I achieved at the end of last term, definitely think this is achievable as I have already gone back and improved upon work done last term, just need to make sure I keep working and improving with what is left of this term and it'll be golden.

Portfolio and The Access Project

The whole point of creating the blog was to show other designers/artists work and say how it inspires and affects us/our work. I seem to have missed this point and except for a few posts here and there this blog has been about me and only me so far. I shall set about rectifying that soon, but for now, here's some more from me.


My portfolio and the latest version of The Access Project booklet are available to be seen and are in my opinion looking pretty damn snazzy.


The portfolio link may take a while to load cos its got some super high resolution pictures in there, which will probably cause some horrific printing issues but I'll deal with that as it happens.
